The Executive Board comprises five elected officer positions. Incumbents in those positions are listed below. In addition to the Board, parents lead the club through chairmanship of and participation on various committees and through responsibilities as team representatives. Team representatives can be found on the individual team pages.
| Bill Lee President Bill is Director of Operations for one of the leading telecommunications companies in the New York metropolitan area. In this role, he has extensive operational and organization management experience. His DIGS experience is just as extensive. Currently, Bill is finishing his fourth year as DIGS's 1st Vice President and club director, a role that involves administrative duties associated with tournament registration and member records. Prior, he served as 2nd Vice President for two years. Bill is also active in regional volleyball, co-chairing the recruiting committee for the New Jersey Region of GEVA. He has also coached, including the DIGS 17 and 15 teams, as well as many camps and clinics. In building his volleyball leadership skills, Bill has attended several clinics and seminars and is IMPACT certified through USA Volleyball. He is also a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association and is currently certifying as a strength and conditioning specialist. Bill's daughter is an alumni of the DIGS program
from 2002 to 2004. This will be Bill's seventh season with the
club. |

Brad Ivie 1st Vice President Brad is a management consultant with 20 years experience in business transformation for Fortune 500 companies, in regards to both organization change and in the use of technology. He received an MBA from New York University and a Masters from The Johns Hopkins University. Last season, Brad applied his skills to re-launch the DIGS website and to put into place a club records management system and an online registration and payment system. In this work, Brad served as the club registrar and webmaster. His prior board experience includes Board Chair for The Village School for Children, a 325-student independent Montessori School in Waldwick, New Jersey. This will be Brad's fourth year as a club parent. His daughter is a high school freshman. |

Andy McBain 2nd Vice President Andy is a practicing chiropractor with extensive community volunteer experience, including President and other executive officer positions for many community organizations in New Jersey, such as several Rotary Clubs and civic Boards of Health. Andy is also a very active attending physician for sports events in New Jersey and New York. He is a graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated Cum Laude. Andy has been involved in DIGS for many years, more recently organizing several fund-raising events, including Comedy Night. His youngest daughter is now a junior in high school. |

Charlotte Castillo Treasurer Charlotte has a diverse professional background, including accounts receivables and collections for an office supply distributor; contract negotiations, staffing, sales, accounting, collections and customer service in the advertising industry; sales, garment production and shipping management in retail apparel; and financial management and project management in software design. Currently, she is the office manager for a home improvement company, where she handles accounts receivables and payables, collections, payroll and customer service and has responsibility for implementing and managing technology solutions. Charlotte was the 15-1 Team
Representative last year. Her daughter has been with
DIGS for two years and is currently a sophomore. |
| Kathy
Kurtzke Secretary
Kathy has been a software developer for the past 17 years for Insurance
Services Office, Inc., (ISO) a provider of data, underwriting, risk management
and legal regulatory services to property casualty insurers and other
clients. Kathy has been a member of the Montvale Recreation Department
for 8 years and also volunteered her time as a vestry member and Sunday
school teacher for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Montvale. She has
worked on various Montvale PTO committees as well as a team parent and
assistant coach for various sports throughout the years. This year she
joined the Pascack Hills High School Volleyball Booster Club as the
recording secretary for the club. Last year was her first exposure to
the volleyball world. Her daughter Samantha, now a sophomore, first
started playing volleyball in her freshman year. She was on the DIGS 15
Blue team where she grew as a volleyball player.
