Four-step Process to Register for Clinic / Team Try-outs

Step 2:  Complete GEVA Online Registration

Individual registration with GEVA for the 2009 – 2010 season is required of all players seeking to participate in any volleyball event sanctioned by GEVA, the regional governing body that oversees club volleyball in New Jersey, Downstate New York, and Long Island.

You may have already registered with GEVA for another event this fall.  If so, you should return to the GEVA system to print another copy of your GEVA registration and medical release forms - you will need to complete, sign, and date the new print-outs and include them in your mailing to DIGS.

Access the GEVA Individual Online Registration Page.  This will open a second, separate browser window.  Keep the DIGS browser open and return to it once you have completed the GEVA registration process.  If you need help, GEVA has online instructions and a "help" email address (registrar@geva.org).

You will either access your existing account and update a data form for your daughter if you were previously GEVA members or you will create a new account if this is your first time registering with GEVA (frankly, even returning players can create a new account).

First, provide "Personal Information" (see the blue box on the left side of the first page after creating a user name and password).  Be sure to update and confirm your daughter's correct school grade and other information.  You can update data even after you saved it.

Then print out the two PDF forms:

- Individual Registration
- Medical Release

Things to keep in mind when completing the forms:

- Your daughter is a "junior" type player, not an adult player.
- Do not
check the Membership Type or write in club and team name in the lower right corner of the paper membership form.
- Both forms require parent and player signatures.

Send all forms to DIGS only (per Step 4).
Do not send forms or any payment  to GEVA.  Your GEVA fees are included in the DIGS clinic fees.

Once you have completed GEVA registration, you can proceed to Step 3:  Complete DIGS Online Registration.
